Wakil KeSultanan to Serbia

His Royal Majesty Ampun Sultan Hadji Muedzul-Lail Tan Kiram, The 35th Sultan of Sulu and North Borneo is supported by highly respectable persons from around the world. His Royal Majesty accepts them in the Royal Order of the Pearl of Sulu regardless of their faith as long as they give their full support to the Sultanate of Sulu and the Tausug people.

His Excellency Tuan Reverend Father Deacon Hadzi Nenad Miodragov Jovanovich GCPS is a member of the Royal Chancellery as a Wakil KeSultanan, the Official Representative of the Sultanate of Sulu to Serbia.

H.E. Tuan Jovanovich is a Clergyman of the Serbian Orthodox Church (Church of Saint Apostle and Evangelist Luke in Koshutnjak) and a Catechist (Primary School “Ljuba Nenadovich”) in Belgrade, Serbia. He is also the Director of the Centre for Research of Orthodox Monarchism and President of it’s Board for Heraldic and Genealogical Studies.

His educational background include the Orthodox Theological Institute, the Serbian Orthodox Church Orthodox Theological Faculty (Cathechist); Orthodox Theological Faculty, University of Belgrade (Theologian, BTh) and University of Belgrade, Master Studies in Religion in Society, Culture and European Integrations (Master of Religiology, MRelSt).

The Revered Father is a Herald to the Princely Branch of the Serbian Royal House of Karageorgevich. He is also the Chaplain for Serbia of the Royal Order of The Eagle of Georgia and The Seamless Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Royal Order of Saint Queen Tamar and the Order of The Crown of Georgia.

His Excellency Tuan Jovanovich is a Grand Cordon of the Royal and Hashemite Order of The Pearl of Sulu, a Representative of the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom in Serbia and has written several books including the “Coats of Arms, Flags and Anthems in The History of Serbia” in 2010; the “Obrenovich (Teodorovich – Obrenovich) – Extinct Serbian Dynasty” co-authored with Aleksandar V. Bachko in 2016 and the “State Heraldry in the Service of Formation of New Identities” in 2019.

His awards and honours include a Grand Cross of The Order of Saint Anthony, a Senator of The Grand Badge of The Order of Saint Queen Tamar, a Great Star of The Order of The Crown of Georgia, a Grand Cross of The Royal Order of The Lion of Rwanda, a Grand Officer of The Order of The Eagle of Georgia and The Seamless Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a Commander of The Royal Equestrian and Military Order of Saint Michael of The Wing, a Knight of The Order of Saint Anna and a Knight of The Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus.

“We all owe our full and undivided support to His Royal Majesty Ampun Sultan Hadji Muedzul-Lail Tan Kiram, The 35th Sultan of Sulu and North Borneo in the effort to re-establish monarchy and legitimate rights and claims of His most august House and his own inherited rights, because this is the most suitable form of government for Sulu and North Borneo, and a firm guarantee of its prosperity and stability.”
