Under the leadership of His Excellency Datu Sadja Kevin Randolph Carrion Limjoco, Amir Bahar of Sulu, and Chancellor of the Royal Order of the Pearl, an important and historic product was developed in honor of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu.
The "Tausug Blend" was specially developed by Dayang Isabel Nieto Delos Reyes, a renowned Chef who infused green tea with coconut and pineapple, significant fruits in the Sulu Archipelago.
This special tea was created as an instrument to advocate and increase knowledge about the Tausug people and the BangsaSug. More importantly, a portion of the sales proceeds will benefit the less fortunate families in Sulu under the various charity programs of His Royal Majesty Ampun Sultan Hadji Muedzul-Lail Tan Kiram and the Royal Sultanate of Sulu.
The official manufacturers of this special tea, Harney & Sons of New York was granted a Royal Appointment as Royal Tea Makers of Sulu by His Royal Majesty The Sultan.
