Advancement in the Order of the Pearl is by petition of the Member.
There are a few simple guidelines which are used in the consideration of an advancement petition:
- A minimum of two years in current grade with three years being recommended
- Contributions to the Order such as volunteering to be a Representative and/or supporting an activity or event of the Order
- Other charitable contributions to society
