Revival of the Office of North Borneo Affairs

The Sultanate of Sulu fully supports the move by the Hon. Teodoro Locsin, Secretary of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs on his move to revive the Office of North Borneo Affairs (ONBA) under his Department.

The late Sultan Moh. Esmail Enang Kiram, 33rd Sultan of Sulu, was the former Head of this Office.

As the heir of his father and grandfather as the Head of the Royal House of Sulu, His Royal Majesty Ampun Sultan Hadji Muedzul-Lail Tan Kiram, The 35th Sultan of Sulu and North Borneo, urges the Philippine government to reopen this important Office.
