Bangsamoro Commission on the Preservation of Cultural Heritage
LIVI...NG THE BANGSAMORO IDENTITY
With the deliberations and hearings taking place for the passage of the Bangsamoro Administrative Code, the soon to be Bangsamoro Commission on the Preservation of Cultural Heritage continues to be at the forefront of preserving and promoting the Bangsamoro history, cultures, and traditions.
The Bangsamoro region being a melting pot of cultures espouses iconic artisans and heroes admired for their invaluable contributions towards the region's intangible cultural assets.
As such, it rationalizes the creation of a regional commission that would undertake the primary responsibility in rewriting the Bangsamoro history and sustain the projects and activities needed for the preservation and promotion of our distinct and vibrant cultures.
To this date, much remains to be done in terms of our culture and heritage. it is our fervent desire that the ideals and aspirations of promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Bangsamoro people be fully realized through the creation of the commission through the Bangsamoro Administrative Code.
Yet, our ways, structures, and practices mirror the vibrant and dynamic human landscape that we all could be proud of. it is due time for the creation of BCPCH and passage of the Administrative Code. It is now time that we should be living the Bangsamoro Identity.

Mujahideens: Unsung Heroes of the Bangsamoro People
BANGSAMORO TRI...VIA
#TheirStoriesFlashbackMonday
Today as we observe the National Heroes Day that commemorates the 1896 Philippine Revolt for the country's independence, let us also recognize the efforts of the Mujahideens who fearlessly fought decades of struggle for peace, justice and freedom.
"Mujahideen" is an arabic term which refers to Muslims who fight on behalf of faith or the Muslim community.
Their policies and activities are in conformity with the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah and its members and followers adapt a system of life in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
The main reason behind the struggle of the Bangsamoro Muslims is the illegal usurpation of their legitimate rights for freedom and self-determination.
Islam made its foundation in about the year 1310 CE, and independent Islamic principalities were established in the beginning of the 15th century. After one hundred years of Islamic grandeur in this part of the globe, the blooming Islamic states were invaded by foreign intruders.
It started in 1521 when Spain invaded the Bangsamoro homeland 29 years after the fall of Andalosia. The Bangsamoro people fought against the Spanish invaders for 377 years and against American intruders for about 40 years and have been fighting Philippine colonial rule during the past years.
Since then, the Bangsamoro Muslims were fighting to preserve their Islamic identity and regain their usurped freedom and independence as they struggle for the delivery of basic services and pursuit of rights for their Bangsamoro brothers and sisters.
